This class will use the Star Burst ruler (formerly known as the Double Wide 4 Patch Dresden Template Ruler) by Me and My Sister Designs to focus on techniques for accurate cutting, piecing, pressing, and turning of the double pointed Dresden plate wedges. We will spend our class time making the plates, but I will thoroughly demonstrate applique techniques for sewing your plates to background fabric. We will discuss threads, stitches, and all the things involved! We will also explore lots of options for setting blocks into a quilt. Warning: once you make one, you’ll want to make more! Let’s have fun!
A supply list, including fabric requirements and other supplies for the day, will be sent to you prior to the event. You will be required to purchase the Star Burst ruler (Double Wide 4 Patch Dresden Ruler) by Me and My Sister Designs. Other Dresden Plate rulers will not work. The ruler may be purchased [LINK]
Registering for this class gets you free admission to the Vendor Mall on Thursday.

Your request must be received prior to August 1, 2024. A $20 cancellation fee will be charged against your class refund. No refunds will be issued after August 1, 2024 - No Exceptions.
