A Double Plated Curved Dresden Plate

Gather your charms, layer cakes, jelly rolls, or scraps and join me in making a sixteen petal curved edge Dresden plate with an eight petal inner plate finished with a fabric circle for the middle.  We will learn foundation paper piecing to piece the petals accurately.  Participants will be instructed on how to turn the outer petal edges using the starch and freezer paper method.  You will learn ways to applique your plate to the background and ideas for using your completed Dresden.  Participants will go home with master copies to print their own FPP patterns to make many more plates.  Warning: You won’t stop at one!
